Meet Johnathan Dye
Baker, founder, and the welcoming face behind Mr. Dye’s Pies, Johnathan Dye began with family recipes and a love for the simple joy of pie. Word-of-mouth turned his kitchen into a destination.
His philosophy is straight from the heart:

Savory Pasties
Introducing our newest menu stars: handcrafted savory pasties—golden, flaky, and packed with comfort.
Flavors include:
- Ground Beef Pasty – seasoned beef, potatoes, celery, carrots, and spices in a warm crust
- 3-Mushroom Pasty (Vegan) – a hearty plant-based blend of white, portabella, shiitake mushrooms, potatoes, onions, carrots, thyme, turmeric, and avocado oil
- Maxwell Street Polish & Sweet Onion Pasty – smoky beef Polish sausage with sweet onions, bell peppers, and potatoes, all wrapped in flaky pastry.
These savory treats are perfect for on-the-go meals, cozy dinners, or sharing—settling in beautifully alongside our classic sweet pies.
